Nice large apartment in a good location. Everything you need in the hotel complex. Large beautiful windows, although the construction on the street below affected the view a little, that was not the accomodation's fault. Bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Large bathroom was nice

Everything was exceptional! I had several things come up during this trip which required extra effort from the hotel staff-- from needing a firmer bed for a muscle spasm in my back to a special diet needed while staying there--they stepped up to meet my needs every time!
It was my first time traveling alone half way across the world, but the Rees Hotel Staff created a sense of trust that I would have all I needed from them. The cleanliness of the laundry room as well as my room was also so appreciated!
I used the hotel shuttle every day I was there and they were very dependable and punctual. This hotel made my trip to Queenstown a memorable one. THANK YOU to Fuka and the other exceptional staff members I had the pleasure to interact with!!!

I spent quite a bit of time around downtown Queenstown.
I spent quite a bit of time around downtown Queenstown. It was very easy to get around and the people were quite friendly and helpful.
I ate at the "Boardwalk" and "Flame" -- both on the wharf side. I was disappointed in the food at the Flame (pork ribs), and also that the waiters didn't explain how large a portion I was ordering. In many NZ restaurants, you have a choice of ordering a "Main" or "Entree" portion. I enjoyed eating at the Boardwalk more.
The scenery is exceptionally beautiful there and the energy of the town was incredible to experience! I'm so glad I decided to visit Queenstown!

This was our fourth visit to Queenstown from Auckland, and the 3rd time staying at the Heritage Hotel. Because there are numerous road works around the town at present( May 2024) and also having to pay for parking everywhere we found it easier to go in by bus and leave the car at the Hotel which gave us more freedom to walk, sight see and get around.
There are an abundance of eateries around Queenstown. Pog Mahones Irish pub. Eriks fish and chips food truck, and of course the famous Fers burgers. A short drive by car or on the bus is the the new shopping centre at Franklin not far from the airport , which takes around 15 mins, where we had lunch at Billy`s cafe, and also lunch at the Coffee club.
In Queenstown, we took the Lunch time cruise on the Earnslaw steamboat up to Walter peak sheep station. Beautiful lunch and scenery.
walked around the Botanical gardens.
Its a lovely drive by car or bus to Arrowtown you can go one way and return via lake Hayes. While there pop into the Fork and tap pub.

The traffic management situation is problematic.
The traffic management situation is problematic. Queenstown seems to be overloved causing traffic issues which are exacerbated by road works all over the place. Don’t expect to solve the parking riddle easily.
Apart from these issues Queenstown is great place with great scenery and a good vibe.

Beautiful landscapes and scenery, lot of places to try different foods and activities to do and Queenstown is a stones throw away from the outer towns e.g. Cardrona, Wanaka, Cromwell, Arrowtown which we visited. Definitely worth a visit and the drive and scenary were spectacular. We went on two jet boat rides, to the Onsen Spas and up the Gondala for dinner at the Stratosphere Restaurant (food was great but it was very busy). Had our first Ferg Burger which was delish!! Overall, a great trip!!

We loved our 4 day trip to Queenstown, and the surrounding region, had a wander around Arrowtown, lunch at the Fork & Tap Pub was squid and cheeseboard was it was delicious. We caught up with family that have recently moved to Cromwell and loved seeing this area. We enjoyed a drive through to Wanaka around the stunning homes being built there, in the evening we enjoyed dinner at Blu Kanu, we had the chef selection and it was exceptional, we are still talking about it. We had lunch at Ayrburn at the Manure Shed (seriously) we enjoyed the wine tasting and another lovely cheeseboard, not as good as Fork & Tap, but still excellent and the surroundings are out of this world gorgeous We enjoyed a drive through to Glenorchy, we also had dinner at Botswana Butchery which always delvers an amazing level of service. A truely relaxing break away from Auckland. Even though our accommodation was not perfect, we were not there much and loved every minute in Queenstown.

This place has a really good vibe.
This place has a really good vibe. The people are so friendly. There is plenty to do here. The views over the lake are absolutely stunning.
It is a must to visit Queenstown if you are travelling to New Zealand!!
Loved everything about our 2 night stay in one of the Studio penthouse apartments (#4a) at the Waterfront.
The view from the large terrace is superb. Lots of natural light, very comfortable king sized bed, deluxe double rain shower, functional mini kitchen, welcoming and friendly staff, free onsite parking, onsite washing machine and dryer and perfect, central location. A few minutes stroll to central Queenstown with many restaurants, bars, shops etc.
That's a nice hotel. Great location, a good price compared to others, good noise insulation and great views (partially). Quiet area close to the airport, shops and just under 15 mins drive to Queenstown. 3 of us (a couple with 2.5 years old) stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, the bed and the place, in general, were good enough. There are a few things to improve but overall I can recommend and stay again in this hotel.
the location very close to town,, stations,, restaurants, tour agency ,, shops, bus lane etc in short very accessible to everywhere just a walk distance.
and I like the fact that the pod is private
very clean and people stay in and staff are decent.. not as cheap as other hostel but the rate will meet your expectation.. still affordable.. I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Queenstown
Not the most obvious place to stay in Queenstown, but there's a bus stop outside the hotel for buses into town where parking is a nightmare, a major shopping centre next door and a second one minutes away, the tour companies collect from the hotel and the flight tours are a few minutes walk from the hotel. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great view down the Remarkables.
Our room on the 3rd floor had a lovely view.
Beds were very comfortable.
In spite of the hotel facing the main road into Queenstown, the rooms were quiet at night.
Walking into Queenstown central was about a ten minute stroll.
Staff were welcoming and friendly.
We dined in our room, and room service was happy to provide plates and cutlery
Amazing experience! My partner and I love Queenstown. We traveled from Dunedin for a secret elopement. Everything was great. Beautiful place to stay and just a short walk to the Queenstown centre. When we checked out the lovely woman behind the desk congratulated us and gifted us a bottle of bubbles. We will be back :)
My family and I ( 7 adults ) all loved our stay at the Bonailie Bothy .The house was situated well with stunning views. The amenities are of a very high standard and we all enjoyed a great nights sleep after our busy days sightseeing. I highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in Queenstown.
Car parking was free. I wish I hadn't let this guide my choice of accommodation as there are similar priced budget hotels closer to the centre of Queenstown but didn't go with them because of the parking. The room was clean when we arrived. Within walking distance of the centre of Queenstown .
Nice hotel apartment located near the airport and within the Remarkables shopping centre, so very handy for all your shopping and restaurant needs. The room had a small kitchenette to satisfy your cooking requirements and the hotel provided free, albeit limited, parking.
Nice apartments had everything we need and very warm. Kind welcoming caring staff and owners. stunning views from our apartment of the snowy mountains, Queenstown town centre and lake. highly recommended and would stay here again.
The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious. The hotel was relatively close to the centre of queenstown. The staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't try the breakfast but the views from the breakfast room was incredible.
Very great location close to Queenstown city centre with lot of parking space. Facilities are really good and very nice staff Deepanshu.
Very accommodative and responsible hotelier
The hotel was located very centrally - perfect for exploring Queenstown! The staff were lovely and very available/responsive to our requests. Very quiet at night which was helpful.
love the view of the mountain and lake from the bed. very good breakfast with good variety of food. Hotel in great location at centre of town. valet parking.
